We'll get to know each other through the application process and determine if we're the right choice for your medical education. We follow a comprehensive timeline to ensure a smooth application and acceptance process for aspiring Warrior M.D.s. Here are the key dates you need to know:

AMCAS application filing:

All applications for admission to the Wayne State University School of Medicine must be submitted through and processed by the American Medical College Application Service. MCAT scores from 2021 to September 2024 will be accepted. 

Secondary application:

After we evaluate AMCAS applications, eligible candidates will be invited to complete a secondary application. To ensure all qualified applicants have the opportunity to showcase their potential, we offer a Secondary Application Fee Waiver Policy. This policy outlines the circumstances under which applicants may qualify for an exception to the non-refundable $100 fee required to complete the secondary application.

The Early Decision Program (EDP)

The Early Decision Program (EDP) allows you to apply exclusively to Wayne State University School of Medicine for the opportunity for early acceptance to medical school. Learn more information about the EDP.
