Business Office

The Office of Medical Education's Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) Business office provides budgetary and personnel support for the Undergraduate Medical Education Program. The UME Program consists of these units: Academic and Student Programs; Admissions; Assessment and Medical Education Research; Audio Visual/Media Productions; Conjoint Teaching Services; The Kado Clinical Skills Center; Medical Education Support Group; Records and Registration; Student Affairs and Design Services/Digital Imaging.

The Business office processes order requests, reviews and maintain equipment service contracts and licenses, maintains inventory of office equipment, processes new hire paperwork and changes of labor, monitors the compliance of the annual review process for employees, attendance, and maintains financial and personnel databases of all units and completes the annual budget for the department. The office is also responsible for planning and organizing student related activities and the budgets for SOM student organizations. We also act as the liaison to SOM Fiscal Affairs, HR-MPN offices and other University business units. Contact us for additional information or with any questions.
