A strategic admissions pathway for partner institution students

The Wayne State University School of Medicine offers Early Assurance Program (EAP) partnerships to support high-achieving undergraduate students on their path to medical school. These programs allow eligible students to apply to the School of Medicine before completing their undergraduate degrees, streamlining the admissions process and helping them plan confidently.

Currently, the Wayne State University School of Medicine maintains Early Assurance Program agreements with the following institutions:

  • Grand Valley State University
  • Saginaw Valley State University
  • Calvin University

Students at these partner schools should contact their pre-health or academic advisors directly to learn more about each program’s eligibility requirements, application timeline, and expectations.

Please note: Participation in an Early Assurance Program does not guarantee admission to the Wayne State University School of Medicine. The Admissions Committee reviews all applications and retains final authority over admissions decisions.
