Faculty information
The doors will open at 10 a.m. and upon arrival a continental breakfast will be served. The Match Day festivities will promptly begin at 11 a.m. There will be several awards given including the Penfil and Class Marshall, so please be in your seat by 10:50 a.m. When the clock strikes noon, the envelopes will be opened and a champagne toast will occur. Photos and fellowship will follow until 1:00 p.m.
RSVP: February 7 - March 1
Complete the Faculty/Staff RSVP form to indicate your attendance. If you are not attending indicate your regrets on the form. If you have been invited to be an envelope presenters be sure to provide your exact title so we can list it correctly in the Match Day program.
Parking
Valet your vehicle at the Hotel entrance, your ticket will be validated upon check- in.
Day-of instructions
When you enter the hotel you will see a set of escalators for the MGM Event Center just to your right. Take the escalator to the third floor where the ballroom is located. Your ticket and seat assignment will be at the check-in table. For those of you who are envelope presenters please report to the head table in the ballroom for your envelopes.
As an envelope presenter, the Student Affairs staff will assign you 1-3 tables. The Match envelopes will be bundled by table number. Your table assignments will be next to each other to make distribution easier.
Just before noon, a signal will be given, and you will pass out your envelopes to the students. Once complete, we ask that you remind the students to not open their envelopes before noon sharp.
At the appointed time, we will have a toast and countdown, and at the end, the students will be free to open their envelopes, learn of their residency placements and begin the celebration!
