Conrad Hunt, M.B.A.
Biography
Mr. Hunt serves as the Director of Operations for the Kado Clinical Skills Center at Wayne State University School of Medicine, the nation’s largest single-campus medical school. With a strong focus on operational excellence, team leadership, and student experience, he oversees the day-to-day management of the simulation lab—an essential component of medical education and training at Wayne State.
A people-oriented leader, Conrad is known for fostering high staff morale and building effective teams. Under his direction, the lab has successfully expanded its scope to include community outreach and engagement programs that spark interest in medicine among youth and promote early exposure to careers in healthcare. Mr. Hunt has also been instrumental in developing the largest interprofessional simulation event in the institution’s history—an ongoing annual experience that brings together over 600 students from seven health disciplines for a coordinated, team-based learning activity. He brings a unique combination of technical expertise and business acumen to his role, helping drive innovation and operational efficiency across the lab’s programs.
