Katie Clark is a third-year medical student at Wayne State University School of Medicine and a Senior Advisor for the Warrior M.D. Ambassadors program. She previously served as an Outreach Coordinator and remains actively involved in mentoring and supporting the next generation of student leaders.

Katie chose Wayne State for its unparalleled community engagement and early clinical exposure, which have played a pivotal role in her medical education. Her passion for service extends beyond the Ambassador program—she serves as Co-President of First Aid First, an Anatomy Tutor, and a Near-Peer Learning Coach, fostering academic success among her peers. She also bridges the intersection of medicine and the arts as the Detroit Institute of Arts Liaison for the Art in Medicine club.

With a strong commitment to mentorship, education, and student advocacy, Katie takes pride in contributing to Wayne State’s dynamic medical community. She values the collaborative and inclusive environment fostered through the team house system, where she has built meaningful connections with fellow students.

For Katie, the most rewarding aspect of being a Warrior M.D. Ambassador is the opportunity to guide prospective students as they explore their medical school options. She is passionate about sharing her experiences, supporting new students in their transition to medical school, and representing the values of Wayne State University School of Medicine.
