Biography
Patrice Harold, M.D., is associate dean of Admissions for the Wayne State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Harold is a 1989 graduate of the School of Medicine.
Born and raised in Detroit, Dr. Harold serves as a clinical assistant professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the director of minimally invasive gynecology at DMC Hutzel Women’s Hospital. She is a longtime member of the School of Medicine’s Admissions Committee.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Wayne State University. After graduating from the School of Medicine in 1989, she completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at DMC Hutzel Women’s Hospital. She then oversaw the Institute for Women’s Medicine in Southfield, Mich. In 2000, she launched her private practice in Southfield.
Dr. Harold’s professional affiliations include the National Medical Society, the Detroit Medical Society and the Michigan State Medical Society. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She also serves as treasurer of the Medical Alumni Association, and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and an alumni member of the Motor City Chapter of Jack and Jill.
