Medical Education Strategic Plan

In the fall of 2012, The School of Medicine initiated a strategic planning process. The primary goal was to assess the strengths and weakness of the medical education program, including the continuum of undergraduate medical education (UME), graduate medical education (GME) and continuing medical education (CME), while leveraging its outstanding qualities to advance the program to a higher level of excellence and performance. The strategic planning process was developed to be broad and inclusive with the intention to ensure the mission and vision of the Office of Medical Education remained central to all its stakeholders and reflected the overall goals of the Medical School.
