Future Docs

Designed for 6- to 12-year-old children of medical school alumni, faculty, staff, medical students and friends, this enjoyable day provides an opportunity for children to explore the world of medicine and for adults to become better acquainted with the School of Medicine, view the campus and meet some of the School of Medicine family.

We are looking for creative workshop instructors to make Future Docs a success again this year. Can you host a medical- or science-themed workshop that is fresh and unusual, but a blast for 6- to 12-year-olds? Participants will cycle continuously through these interactive workshops, creating a fast-paced and engaged atmosphere. If so, let us hear from you. Past workshop titles include Telemedicine Robots!, DNA – Inside and Out, Fit Kids, Ultrasound – A Look Inside, Brains in a Bucket, Casting Call, The Gene Team, Rehab Rocks and Fake Finger Fractures.

Future Docs takes place annually at the end of March on a Saturday at Scott Hall. If you have questions or need additional information, contact the Alumni Affairs Office at 313-577-3587 or alumni@med.wayne.edu
