Ajay K. Singla, M.D., Associate Professor & Chief of Female Urology & Voiding
Dysfunction, Department of Urology
Special Interests:
My clinical interests are in the field of voiding dysfunction and urinary incontinence
in men and women. The voiding dysfunction also encompasses the neurogenic bladder
from a number of diseases including diabetes, Parkinson's, multiple sclerosis after major
pelvis surgery, as well as from trauma. Working closely with an urogynecology
colleague, the problem of vaginal prolapse and urinary incontinence are managed
comprehensively. Using a multi-disciplinary approach, the problem of fecal
incontinence is also addressed at the same time. Here at the Detroit Medical
Center, we provide comprehensive bladder pressure testing and a full time
multi-disciplinary approach to urinary and fecal incontinence.
