Education
The Department of Surgery provides a strong academic and clinical
foundation for physicians who have the fundamentals of knowledge,
abilities and mature judgment to be trained as surgeons and who
will be leaders in the field whether it is in clinical practice,
or in the academic setting. The educational curriculum is designed
to expose the resident or fellow to a competitive environment in
all relevant fields of surgery.
