Our goal is to help others recognize the urban child as a unique patient and to help our colleagues acquire the resources and understanding necessary to help the children obtain complete health. HealthFOCUS Objectives
To expand awareness/knowledge of issues affecting urban child health. To increase networking contacts among people in varied aspects of urban child well being. To serve as a stepping-stone for collaborative and active efforts in improving healthcare for the urban child.

There are two workshop sessions and a multidisciplinary panel. Primary care residency programs are invited to send representatives who will distribute information to attendees during the conference.
