STRAP Program

STroke Risk Assessment and Prevention (STRAP) Program

STRAP is the Stroke Program's community-based stroke screening programs. We have partnered with several community organizations to provide screenings to the general public. Two major goals of the screenings include (1) education regarding stroke symptoms and stroke risk factors and (2) evaluation of individual risk factors including blood pressure management and fingerstick blood samples for cholesterol and sugar diabetes testing.

For further details or if you or your organization is interested in hosting a screening please:
call (313) 745-1540
or toll-free (877) MI-BRAIN [(877) 642-7246]
