The Wayne State University chapter of SIGN was founded in the spring of 2000 with the support of the American Academy of Neurology and the Neurology Department of WSU. Our faculty mentor is Dr. James Garbern.
Our SIGN chapter hopes to be a source of information for students interested in neurology and the neurosciences. We will sponsor speakers and workshops to introduce students to some of the diseases, treatments, and procedures that neurologists encounter. Students will have opportunities to shadow practicing neurologists.
