Graduate Student Research Day coming soon

The annual Graduate Student Research Day presentations and awards will be held Thursday, September 14 at Scott Hall from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

According to research day coordinators, Lynn Shetron and Lisa Demchik, the purpose of the event is to promote interactions among departments and students within biomedical research fields. Abstracts can be submitted by WSU graduate students in either an oral or poster presentation category.

At noon, three speakers will present a lecture about life after graduate school in three different specialties -- academia, industry and government.

Stephen Day, PhD, Technicial Marketing Director, Visible Genetics, Inc.

David Klurfeld, PhD, Professor and Chair of Nutrition and Food Science at WSU
