Wayne State University Radiology is a multi-specialty radiology group with advanced expertise in all fields of diagnostic imaging including Position Emission Tomography (PET), specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging Services (MRI), ultrasound services and non-invasive vascular diagnostic services. The Wayne State University Radiology Department offers highly focused sub-specialty services in pediatric radiology, neuroradiology, musculoskeletal radiology, vascular and endo-vascular radiology and trauma imaging. This group is regionally and nationally recognized for their expertise in diagnostic imaging.
Members of the Wayne State University Department of Radiology teach courses on a national level and also instruct physicians throughout the area in subspecialty skills such as pediatric radiology. The department has a nationally recognized MRI Research Center as well as other research areas of excellence. The department has one of the largest training programs in the United States for residents wishing to become diagnostic radiologists.
