ABOUT OUR LAB


Our lab team With over 20 years of psychiatric experience, Dr. Boutros is a leading expert in the electrophysiological assessment of neuropsychiatric disorders. He has numerous publications and he is the recipient of several National Institute of Mental Health Research Grants. He is board certified in Neurology, Psychiatry, and Clinical Neurophysiology. The WSU Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences successfully recruited Dr. Boutros from Yale University to enhance psychiatric services to individuals experiencing a neurological based psychiatric disorder. Since his arrival he has established a lab and a Clinical Electrophysiology Service in Detroit at the UPC offices on East Jefferson. He is now accepting referrals for his services. Please consider Dr. Boutros to assist you with patients who manifest any form of episodic behavior, or are atypical in their presentation (particularly an unusual age of onset). Dr. Boutros will schedule a standard EEG within two business days upon receipt of a referral and a report will be prepared within 72 hours upon completion of the EEG. Dr. Boutros provides telephonic consultation to review the results with the referring physician to discuss treatment options.
