ADHD

Brain Research studies have described attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as a brain developmental disorder with attention problem. The present proposal seeks to advance our understanding of objective brain markers reflecting attentional dysfunction in ADHD children. Also we will focus on the developmental course of attention and memory related function in order to track the relationship between memory and attention in children of school age. The main aim of this proposal is to reveal the specific relationship, between developing brain function and neuropathology in children from 7 to 17 years old using event-related brain potential (ERP) approach. This approach allows us to measure brain electrical activity elicited by different auditory and visual stimuli.
