Education and Training Programs

Associate Chair for Education: Beth Ann Brooks, MD

The Office of Education and Training Programs (OETP) is responsible for overseeing  the Department's education-training mission. Its primary objective is the establishment and maintenance of excellence across all education-training programs in the DPBN. Since no single frame of reference or etiological approach is adequate to meet the full range of mental health needs, the OETP strives to promote an environment which optimizes a comprehensive integrated approach to education-training experiences. The OETP provides administrative and budgetary support to the directors of the various training programs and ensures that the education-training mission is protected across all levels of departmental activities.
