The Medical Information Systems Department is responsible for managing the utilization of all information technology within the department. This service unit provides support in the integration of electronic data from various software platforms as the department moves toward common systems. Responsibilities in this service unit include, but are not limited to: computer product recommendations and installation, hardware and software support, computer virus control, and information technology project planning and implementation of various dimensions. This unit will provide guidance to the DPBN, PBMP, and serve as the liaison to the DMC for IT related issues.
