WSU faculty member given ADAA Career
Development Travel Award
Dr. Nili Benazon of the Wayne State
University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences was recently
given an Anxiety Disorders Association of America (ADAA) Career Development
Travel Award.
The ADAA is a non-profit organization that
promotes the prevention and cure of anxiety disorders and works to improve the
lives of all who suffer from them. Each year, the organization gives five Career
Development Travel Awards to young professionals with career interests in fields
related to anxiety disorders.
The awards include a travel and expense
stipend of $3,500 to attend the ADAA Annual Conference and the invitation-only
Scientific Satellite Meeting in March and the annual meeting of the American
College of Neuropsycho-pharmacology in December, a one-year ADAA membership and
a personal profile in ADAA’s newsletter.
