WSU Resident selected for international
mentorship program
Dr. Ravi Singareddy, a resident in the
Psychiatry and Internal Medicine Double Board Program in the Department of
Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at Wayne State University, was recently
selected as a mentee in the American Association of Directors of Psychiatric
Residency Training (AADPRT) International Medical Graduate Mentorship program.
The AADPRT is a national organization based
in Connecticut and is comprised of approximately 425 psychiatrists. Members are
dedicated to psychiatry residency training.
Dr.
Singareddy’s research interests include symptom and biological comparisons
between sleep panic attacks and other parasomnias.
In particular, Dr Singareddy is interested in studying whether those with
nocturnal panic attacks have an increased sensitivity to CO2
inhalation.
