SPECIAL COURSE OFFERINGS FOR FALL, 2002
Each session will consist of 3 hours of lecture per week for 4 weeks and will be allotted 1 credit. Class meeting times will be arranged with the instructors.  Fluorescence spectroscopy and imaging: applications for biology and biophysics

Pharmacology and Molecular Biology of Membrane Transporters
Lawrence Lash and Larry Matherly

This course will present background information on the various classes of
facilitated and active transporters found in mammalian membranes and will
feature discussions of recent papers on selected transporters that highlight
key or novel methodology and transporters that have significant therapeutic or toxicological functions.
