Professor

Dr. John H. Krouse joined the faculty at Wayne State University on October 1, 2001 as Professor and Director of Rhinology and Otolaryngic Allergy. He is nationally recognized as a specialist in the medical and surgical treatment of diseases of the nose and sinuses, and is director of Harper Hospital’s Center of Excellence for Sinus Surgery. Dr. Krouse serves on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy and is Chairperson of the Medical Education for the AAOA. He serves on numerous committees of both the AAOA and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, including the Allergy and Immunology Committee, the Rhinology and Paranasal Sinuses Committee, and the Subcommittee on Research Grants and Prizes. Dr. Krouse is also on the Editorial Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and is a reviewer for several otolaryngology publications.
