Hospitals and Clinical Labs


The Department of Neurology, Wayne State University is part of the Detroit Medical Center (DMC). The DMC is one of the largest medical centers in the country and is a leader in biomedical research. The hospitals that comprise the DMC are prestigious and have a history of providing unsurpassed care for our indigent and wealthy neighbors residing next door or from around the globe.

Within Children's Hospital of Michigan, the Department of Neurology houses its Pediatric Electromyography and Nerve Conduction studies as well as Electroencephalogram (EEG) testing. For adults, the Holden Neurophysiology Lab offers EEG, Electromyography with Nerve Conduction studies, Evoked Potentials, and a Transcranial Doppler.
