School of Medicine

Students, staff and faculty members of the Wayne State University are entitled to acquire and use many types of Macintosh and Windows software either for free or at a reduced cost. The software titles include Office Suites, and the Windows XP operating system.  Additional Software can be downloaded from the Campus Software Clearinghouse.

Windows computers that are configured to log into the MED domain should contact the Helpdesk at 313-577-1527 for Norton Antivirus software.  The difference between the campus download copies and the copy used by MSIS is that MSIS will auto update your virus definitions every day for further protecting the School of Medicine's Computing environment.
