Current activity: Beginning May 1st, 2005, I will be starting my post-doctoral training in Dr. Jack L. Strominger's lab at Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA. The main focus of my post-doctoral research will be to study the regulatory role of NK cells in maternal-fetal tolerance and role of regulatory T cells in autoimmune diseases such as MS and diabetes.

Personal: I am married to Vishal Gohil, who will also be pursuing post-doctoral research in mitochondrial genomics at Harvard University. We both enjoy research, watching movies from all over the world (thanks to Detroit Art Institute Film Theatre) and are great sports fans (including cricket, tennis, american football, basketball and now I guess baseball too…Go RedSox!).
