Current activity: My initial research interests were in mechanisms of autoimmune disease, regulation of T and B lymphocyte interaction, and production of T cell hybridomas and T cell lines. I am currently Dean of Students for the Medical School and am affiliated with the Molecular Microbiology and Immunology Department as Course Director for Medical Microbiology and Immunology. I am in charge of graduate student-teaching in that course. My current interests are in the development of computer-aided instruction in medical education, and the use of modern methods of information technology in problem-based learning.
