Current activity: Clinical studies involving HIV infection in adult and children, primary immunodeficiency diseases, autoimmune diseases, and allergies.

Personal: After graduating WSU I spent 5 years at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in Chella David's laboratory; three as a postdoc, one as a research associate, and one as an instructor. Returned to Detroit in 1983 as supervisor of the clinical immunology laboratory at Children's Hospital. This eventually lead to my current position as Technical Director of Immunology for the Detroit Medical Center's Clinical Immunology laboratory.
