Current activity:

NanoBio Corporation (2001- present):
Director R&D; I have been working on the development of antimicrobial nanoemulsions for over 7 years. During this period, I have 4 patents issued and several additional patent applications in process, all in the antimicrobial nanoemulsion technology. Recently NanoBio has started its phase II clinical trials against Herpes labialis. We are also working on the development of a nanoemulsion formulation for the decontamination of Anthrax for bio-defense applications.

University of Michigan (1997-2001):
Research associate II: Nanoemulsion antimicrobial research. Teaching virology in the Medical School.

Personal: After finishing my Ph.D., I returned to U.S. where I settled. I am married to Nadia (since 1986). My wife graduated from the dental school at the University of Michigan and she practices general dentistry in Ann Arbor. I have 2 girls, Nora (16) and Nada (12).
