Current activity: Appointments UNR: Professor of Microbiology and Immunology, University of Nevada School of Medicine and Professor of Animal Biotechnology and Veterinary Medicine, College of Agriculture, University of Nevada.

Academic Activities: Course & Laboratory Coordinator, "Medical Microbiology", Sophomore Medical Students. Course Coordinator, "Diseases of Domestic Animals", Veterinary Students, Veterinarians, and Animal Biotechnology Graduate Students.
Team teach in graduate level "Cell Biology", "Molecular Virology", and "Topics in Infectious Diseases".

Research: Cytokine and cell surface molecule production by Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) infected/transfected cells and their relationship to the immune response to HPV infections. Epidemiology, molecular biology and vaccine development for the bovine reproductive disease, Epizootic Bovine Abortion. Epidemiology and prevalence of enterotoxin-producing E. coli in beef cattle raised under rangeland conditions of the West and Southwest.

Personal: Wife: Nancy J. (Renick) Hall, (Married 1969). Children: Matthew Brian, born 1980 and Erin Marie, born 1981. Hobbies/Recreation: Camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, travel, and water sports. Family involved in several summers remodeling our mountain/lake getaway cabin at Lake Almanor, in Northern California. Lake Almanor and the region around our cabin provide abundant opportunity for exploring in Lassen National Park and for water related sports.
