Current activity: I run a Molecular Diagnostics lab in the Anatomic Pathology section. We offer TCR gamma and IGH Gene Rearrangement assays as clinical tests. We also offer a microsatellite based Tissue Identity assay. I am currently working on developing fluorescence based assays for several applications in cancer diagnostics. Some of these will be done by Capillary Electrophoresis and some by Real Time Quantitative PCR. Once these assays have been validated, we will offer them for patient testing.
