Current activity: Faculty member at the University of Sheffield directing a research program investigating the immunobiology of heat shock proteins, particularly relating to their influence on cardiovascular disease and organ allograft rejection. Elected Treasurer of the British Society for Immunology in 2000, and I am a Founding Member of the Cell Stress Society International.
Personal: Turned grey at an unusually young age.
Feel better for not having been to Pat O'Briens and Bourbon Street in N'Awlins for many years.
Look back on my time at Wayne State University with very fond memories.
