of Michigan. She is currently working on clinical research on the CODMAN
Bactiseal catheter study evaluating a majority pediatric population. She
has so far, gathered data on over 200 patients and is responsible for
assisting in all matters of Hydrocephalus clinical research. She is a
recent graduate from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology. Her previous research experience
began at Central Michigan University in 2004. As a research assistant
for the Neuropsychology team at CMU, she worked on the detection of malingering
in patients with recent brain injury. In 2005 she came to the aide of
a Missouri school district struck by Hurricane Katrina by assisting in
gathering 500 backpacks filled with school supplies delivered to the students
on their first day of school. She is currently a volunteer at Children’s
Hospital of Michigan with hopes to soon pursue a graduate degree. Jennifer’s
goal as a research assistant is to advance the awareness of efficient
