Family Practice Mentorship Program
The Department of Family Medicine seeks to encourage and sustain
the interest of Wayne State University medical students in pursuing
careers in the specialty of Family Practice. An important element
of this effort is the Family Practice Mentorship Program which links
enthusiastic Family Physicians in the Detroit area with individual
medical students to support their interest in the specialty. If you
are a board-certified Family Physician or Wayne State University medical
student who would like to participate in this program, please contact
