FMIG Overview

FMIG offers interesting lectures throughout the year featuring speakers from metro area residency programs. Free lunch is provided at all FMIG meetings. We invite you to take an hour break away from your books to learn and enjoy yourself with us.

Free membership to FMIG and the Michigan Academy of Family Physicians is provided to students by donations from the Southeast Chapter of the Michigan Academy of Family Practitioners. Membership includes the insightful American Family Physician Journal. This journal of medicine is applicable to all fields of medicine.

To join FMIG you don’t have to go into Family Practice. The lectures will apply to everyone’s interests. However, there is a great demand for primary care physicians, so make Family Practice a candidate for your career choices.

There are no dues or obligations. FMIG is a group that works for you. In order to participate in FMIG activities we ask that, when the topics are posted on the FMIG board that you sign up.
