Departmental Role

Dr. Markova is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences serving as the Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs and Graduate Medical Education, as well as the Family Medicine Residency Program Director. In this capacity she provides oversight of the ACGME accredited new Transitional and Family Medicine Residencies at Crittenton Hospital Medical Center. She teaches and mentors students, residents and faculty in competency-based education. Dr. Markova leads the effort of clinical practice transformation to Patient-Centered Medical Home.
