Felicity Harper, Ph.D.

Departmental Role

I am a clinical psychologist with research and clinical interests in
psychosocial oncology. I joined the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences as an
Assistant Professor in August 2004 in conjunction with my appointment at
the Karmanos Cancer Institute. At the Institute, I am a Scientist in the
Communication and Behavioral Oncology Research Program and provide
clinical mental health services through the Wertz Counseling Service. I
expect to use my training and experience in psychosocial oncology and
family violence to help improve the emotional well-being, quality of
life, and health behaviors of cancer patients and their families,
including those in underserved populations.
