Departmental Role

John Graff is an assistant professor at Wayne State University School of Medicine and the Chief of Cancer Surveillance Research at the Karmanos Cancer Institute.   His research interests include cancer registry based investigations of mesothelioma, breast and oral cancers, and investigations of exposure to occupational and environmental asbestos.   Dr. Graff's current work as a coinvestigator in the National Center for Vermiculite and Asbestos-related Cancers includes a population-based characterization of mesothelioma in metropolitan Detroit and a pilot study of vermiculite attic insulation exposures in relation to asbestos-related disease.
