Departmental Role
As an M.D., my primary role is as a researcher within the department. My research currently focuses on investigating socioeconomic and racial determinants of perinatal health. I am the Project Manager for the L.I.F.E. (Life Influences on Fetal Environments) Study, a multi-year, NIH-funded study. My responsibilities include project management; study design, implementation, and analysis; and manuscript preparation. My passions are patient education and racial and socioeconomic health disparities.
