Departmental Role


My role in the Department of Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences at Wayne State University is the Clinical Director for the Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences Clerkship. In this role I assist the clinical director in the development and implementation of the clerkship as well as deliver didactic lessons. In addition, I serve as a small group instructor for the School of Medicine Introduction to Clinical Medicine course. I am also engaged in research with a focus on evidence-based clinical medicine in adolescent school health. I also provide primary health care to patients in our Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences outpatient clinic and inpatient Family Medicine and Public Health Sciences service.
