Departmental Role

As a medical anthropologist and an applied researcher, I contribute to research and education regarding the translation of effective health promotion and disease prevention practices in diverse urban settings and populations.  I am responsible for teaching FPH 7320 Psychosocial Aspects of Health and Health Care and I directed the FPH 7440 Public Health Practicum from 2004-2007.
