SOM-Faculty Senate Web Site
The Senate is the principal elected deliberative body of the faculty of the School of Medicine. Its purpose is to advise the Dean on matters of policy. Policies concerning the School of Medicine, curriculum, education and research programs, admissions and promotions of students, and appointments and promotions of faculty are among matters of faculty concern and participation.
AAUP-AFT
The AAUP-AFT represents the faculty and academic staff at Wayne State University. On their website is information about the many activities in which they are engaged on behalf of the faculty and academic staff.
