Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Overview

We are beginning the implementation of an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system in clinics to replace the paper charts currently being used. Our first clinic to implement the system is the Ophthalmology clinic at the Kresge location with Phase I implementation occurring October 2005. Additional specialty clinics will begin the process of EMR implementation towards the end of 2005.
