Research
We believe strongly that scientific evidence is key to initiating change that positively impacts the health and wellbeing of our patient population. That is why our Emergency Medicine Clinical Research Program has a history of actively addressing the needs of our patients by conceiving, designing, and conducting funded research projects in the areas of neurological emergencies, resuscitation, palliative care, and heart failure. We have produced practice-changing publications in the leading medical journals, and have obtained extramural funding from the most competitive funding sources. In addition, our Clinical Research faculty are committed in their roles of teaching and mentoring medical students and residents in order to advance the next generation of ethical scientists and science-consumers.
