Clinical Research Fellowship
Thank you for inquiring about the Emergency Medicine Clinical Research Fellowship at Wayne State University . Our fellowship offers an intensive clinical and didactic experience that prepares physicians to become expert researchers.
In 1994, the Carnegie Foundation designated WSU with the Research University I status. Of the country's more than 2,100 four-year colleges and universities, only 88 hold Research University I designation.
The School of Medicine has a total enrollment of over 1,000 medical students, and is the country's largest single-campus medical school and the fourth largest of 1,125 medical schools in the country. The graduate medical education programs are extensive, with approximately 927 residents and fellows enrolled at WSU and The Detroit Medical Center.
