Setting up e-mail

Note: make sure that you are logged through BlueSocket before setting up e-mail.

Step 1
Click on the little white envelope icon on the main screen.
Click in the “Accounts” tab from the bottom of the screen.
Select "New Account"

Step 2
Enter email address in the text box
Use <shift> on your keyboard to enter the “@” sign
Tap “Next” when finished

Step 3
Auto configuration should automatically configure your email settings
Tap “Next”

Step 4
Enter your name, username (jsmith) and your password in the provided textboxes
Tap “Next” when finished

Step 5
Enter Account type (IMAP4) and name (Jim's Email) in capital letters.
Tap “Next” when finished

Step 6
Input the following values in the text boxes provided
Incoming Mail: imap.med.wayne.edu
Outgoing Mail: smtp.med.wayne.edu
Domain: (MED) in all caps
Tap “Finish” when done
Other mail servers may be used
