Metastases

CT before contrast enhancement (left) shows heterogenous abnormality in the left parietal region that is slightly hyperdense centrally and low attenuation peripherally.

 

Intense enhancement is seen centrally following contrast administration (right), with low attenuation peripherally representing edema. This lesion is most likely a metastasis in this patient with lung cancer.
