Ruptured Lymphatic Duct

 

CT image shows low attenuation fluid in the right side of the retroperitoneum, between the psoas muscle and the lower pole of the kidney (K). The duodenal sweep (D) is well opacified and no extravasated bowel contrast is seen. The surgical team was suspicous of a bowel injury. At surgery, a ruptured lymphatic duct was found.
