Dr. Thomas holds a Doctorate
in Theoretical Evaluation and Research from Wayne State
University with a minor in community medicine. Prior to
joining Children’s Research Center of Michigan, Dr.
Thomas was employed as a Research Director for the Gallup
Organization in Princeton, New Jersey. Through the CRCM, Dr.
Thomas is charged with assisting and training others in
becoming more proficient in scientific inquiry, research
strategies, evaluation and appraisal of studies, models and
designs and multivariate analysis, especially in conjunction
with computer facilities. Dr. Thomas’ statistical expertise
and personal interest lies in the areas of psychometrics
and Item Response Theory (IRT). |
